Level Design Document
The purpose of this analysis is to understand how the level was conceived and to discover the intentions behind it.
Level Intentions
- Hostility: Dark, gloomy environment
- Climbing: Constantly climbing
- Cleverness: Take advantage of zurks' lack of intelligence to evade them.
- Discretion: Avoid making noise to avoid being spotted by swarms of zurks.
Level Aesthetics
- Feeling: The areas seem increasingly dirty and infected by the zurk invasion as the player progresses
More and more Zurk infestations, building site elements (hoists, scaffolding, electrical cables) or civilian goods (drying laundry) are gone, as if all the inhabitants had to leave in a single day.
